Erina Yamamoto

Erina Yamamoto was born in Okayama, Japan. She came to the United States as an international student in 2008. Erina went to Merced College and graduated in 2009 with an associate’s degree in Social Science. Later, she transferred to San Francisco State University, majoring in Broadcast Journalism. She is a current member of State of Events.

Erina likes to report on environmental issues as well as international news that focuses on Asia. She is also interested in social welfare due to her unique background because both of her parents are deaf. In her free time, she likes to go out with her friends and eat.
